Mary Carole Young was sworn in at 5:30PM as the 52nd
President of the Associated Students of Ouachita Baptist University.
Following her swearing in, President Young swore in
all of the new elected senators.
President Young made remarks on her new executive
cabinet and on the coming year.
Lindsey Little made a presentation to Dr. Bass, the
outgoing senior executives, and Amber Wilson.
They were all thanked for their service to the Senate.
President Young said her goodbyes and thanks to the
outgoing senior executives.
Sarah Huckabee informed the Senate that the end of
the year party would be tonight from 10 – 12 at the bowling alley.
New and old senators were invited.
President Young asked for volunteers to serve punch
at a retirement party on the bridge from 3:15 – 4:30 on Wednesday.
Secretary Schartung asked all new senate members to
fill in their information on the new roster.
There was a motion, and second, to adjourn.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:39.
