EEE Alumni! We have been busy getting things updated!
|
 |
 |
|
We have added several pages for Pledge Classes who have responded to our request for information. After discussing this with the OBU Webmaster, we found out that OBU has an alumni page -- www.obualumni.org! It includes an on-line, searchable directory of all OBU alumni -- so you might want to check it out, too! You can actually search by social club and find everyone that has registered.
However, that didn’t allow us to chat with each other. So we have set-up a bulletin board system that is password protected! If you need the initial password, please e-mail us dhbrower@valornet.com or jacnicbat04@aol.com. After you register with the Board, we will send you an updated user name and password.

When you visit the bulletin board, please make sure you share following information:
Name Pledge Class Address Phone Number E-Mail Address Any personal information you would like to have included, such as children, husband’s name, job, pets, and anything else interesting that you have been doing with your life!
Also, please continue to send your pictures to dhbrower@valornet.com or jacnicbat04@aol.com so that they can be put up on the photo albums for each pledge class. (You can put them on the bulletin board if they are published on a website! If not, send them to us and we’ll take care of it!)

If you have any interesting alumni stories, we’ll also include those, as well as a current picture of you!
Thanks so much for helping us make our website a success for not only the current EEE’s, but all EEE’s!

The EEE’s have almost 1,000 alumni who live all over the United States, from California to Florida. Our annual homecoming tea is our main opportunity for alumni and current members to interact. The 2000 Homecoming tea was very special because we celebrated our 75th anniversary. We had a great turnout for our anniversary brunch that was held at First Baptist Church. Around 200 alumni attended the brunch, representing pledge classes from the 1940s to the present. Several former members from different decades shared their favorite EEE memories with the group. As a special surprise, we received a note of encouragement and well wishes from Gloria Cliett Walker, the last living charter member. Women such as Mrs. Walker demonstrate that an EEE is an EEE for life.
The EEEs have received many pieces of interesting EEE memorabilia, including a ruby and pearl replica of the patch. We enjoy receiving memorabilia because it allows the current members to learn more about the rich history of the EEEs. If any alumni have memorabilia that they would like to donate to our archive, please mail it to our campus mailbox, listed on the contact page.
