History

Chi Rho Phi began as an idea of Jodi Wozniak when she saw that sometimes the Bible studies on campus were not filling the need that some girls had for accounatbility. They didn't require the committment or offer all of the fellowship opportunities that social clubs had the potential of doing. So God directed Jodi to nine girls that became the charter members of the club.

It took over seven months to get the final charter but they officially became a club on November 30, 1999, just in time to get organized for their first rush and pledge class. That class of 2000 had five pledges and they quickly became an essential part of the group. Pledge classes ever since have been adding their own personality and traditions to Chi Rho Phi.

This past January they added another six girls to the sisterhood. While they have fun and participate in tons of activities, their focus still remains on discipling each other and preparing themselves for ministry as a vital part of the body of Christ.
